Job summary

Anaconda, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Development Representative to join our rapidly growing team.

This role focuses on inbound/outbound prospecting, research-driven outreach, and AI-assisted account work to expand our data science and AI portfolio. You’ll work with the sales team to craft multi-threaded enterprise campaigns, prioritize opportunities, and use AI tools to identify buying signals across target accounts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Business Development.
• Highly competitive, achievement-oriented, motivated, and driven to exceed goals.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone and written communication, as well as active listening.
• Experience prospecting into multi-threaded Enterprise-level accounts.
• Experience utilizing Sales Enablement tools (Salesforce, Groove, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for account research and prospecting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize inbound leads to ensure timely and effective follow-up.
• Develop and lead targeted outbound campaigns from idea generation through to qualified calls.
• Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity.
• Proactively organize and maintain the sales pipeline, keeping detailed records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase the conversion rate of meetings to opportunities, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices.
• Use AI tools to identify and prioritize buying signals across target accounts, including data role hiring patterns, GitHub activity, tech stack shifts, and funding events.
• Build AI-assisted account research briefs prior to first contact, synthesizing a prospect’s AI strategy, current tooling, and likely pain points to inform outreach and discovery.
• Leverage AI to map personas within target accounts (data scientists, ML engineers, IT/security, procurement) and develop role-tailored messaging for each stakeholder.
