Job summary

Darktrace is seeking a Solutions Engineer on the Acquisition Team to partner with Account Executives and drive net-new business. You will lead the technical sales process from discovery through evaluation, solution design, and business justification.

You will translate cybersecurity risks into meaningful outcomes for network, cloud, and hybrid environments, delivering demos and PoCs to SOC teams and executives. This role requires urgency, ownership, and execution pace.

Qualifications

• Pre-sales/solutions engineering background in cybersecurity or SaaS preferred.
• Experience with net-new business and guiding technical deals through MEDDPICC or similar
• Ability to design solutions, run demos/PoCs, and communicate ROI effectively
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead technical ownership from discovery to close in new deals.
• Align solution designs to customer SOC workflows and ROI.
• Deliver high-impact demos and value-driven storytelling to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering and CS to accelerate deals.
