Job summary

ServiceNow seeks a Senior AI Agent Engineer (Federal) to drive high-impact AI solutions for federal civilian, DoD, and IC contexts. You will own end-to-end delivery, architect integrations, and influence product direction while partnering with engineering, product, and customer success teams.

You will collaborate across procurement, security, and governance processes to ensure compliant deployments, including FedRAMP IL4/IL5 environments where applicable.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required; eligibility to obtain and maintain a US federal security clearance (Public Trust at minimum; Secret or higher preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Experience designing, building, and launching full-stack workflows and automations leveraging REST APIs, iPaaS automation (Workato, Azure Functions, AWS Lambdas, ServiceNow Flow Designer), or generic scripting.
• Ability to operate across multiple business functions or technical domains.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating other team members, with strong networks across departments and external stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack Ownership: deliver AI Agents across federal engagements from design to launch.
• Custom Solution Design: architect AI solutions for federal stakeholders.
• Integration and Implementation: connect the Moveworks platform with enterprise systems (ITSM, HRIS, identity, knowledge sources); ensure FedRAMP IL4/IL5 readiness where applicable.
• Product Partnership: collaborate with engineering and product teams on new rollouts and incorporate customer feedback into the roadmap.
• Strategic Guidance & Influence: advise federal customers and upskill agency teams on product use.
• Reusability & Knowledge Sharing: create reusable templates from successful solutions.
