Job summary

Talkdesk seeks a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer to shape how enterprise customers deploy and scale our Agentic AI platform. You will own the technical strategy, design reusable architectures, and mentor the FDE team while interfacing with executives.

You will lead complex, high‑visibility deployments, write production‑grade code, and drive engineering standards across global accounts to ensure secure, scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering, architecture, or technical solutions engineering, with 3+ years in cloud services architecture and deploying AI/ML/Agentic solutions in production.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead Technical Architect for global deployments and design multi-agent systems.
• Write production-grade code (Python, TypeScript, Node.js) and build reusable templates and deployment tools.
• Serve as primary technical authority for key accounts and de-risk complex implementations.
• Collaborate with Core Product and AI Engineering to translate customer requirements into platform capabilities.
• Mentor FDEs and define engineering best practices for prompt engineering and agent orchestration.
