Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Senior Aerospace Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of software for aerospace systems. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with systems engineers, and drive tools supporting flight control, mission planning, and simulation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
8+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
Experience with Linux and full stack software development.
U.S. citizenship or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of software applications for aerospace systems.
Collaborate with systems engineers, mission designers, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and architecture.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Develop user interfaces that are intuitive, efficient, and meet the needs of our operators.
Create and maintain software for data processing, analysis, and visualization.
Develop and maintain simulation software for testing and verification of aerospace systems.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
