Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Sr. Flight Dynamics System Software Architect to refine and lead flight dynamics software for a satellite management system, capable of handling a large constellation with a compact team.

You will guide mission operation software, ground system infrastructure in the AWS cloud, and oversee build automation, testing, and deployment. Strong leadership and deep technical expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/AE/ME/EE/Physics or related field.
• Expertise in flight dynamics for fleet of space vehicles.
• Experience in production flight dynamics software.
• Proficient in Java, Python, JavaScript, C or C++.
• Experience with Agile and modern software practices.
• Knowledge of software defined networking and cloud basics.
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Refine software architecture and lead software implementation of flight dynamics.
• Guide mission operation software and ground system in AWS Cloud.
• Lead CI/CD, configuration management, verification and deployment.
• Prepare operations products and documentation for flight dynamics.
• Develop and integrate software components with tests.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across spacecraft, ground software, and ops teams.
