Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking engineers to define system-level software requirements, interfaces, and tests for a growing family of spacecraft. You will work with flight and ground software teams to design, develop, and integrate software systems across mission types, and you will lead testing activities and troubleshooting throughout the program lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Aerospace, CS, or Systems Engineering.
• 5+ years in space systems software development, testing, and execution.
• Knowledge of space mission operations and satellite systems.
• Experience with aerospace software development and testing.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools and system architecture frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define multiple candidate architectures for software interfaces across mission types.
• Collaborate with flight/ground software teams to integrate systems.
• Develop hardware to software interface definitions and test plans.
• Create comprehensive mission software test plans and procedures.
• Lead troubleshooting and improve testing methodologies.
