Job summary

Appian is seeking a Senior Advisory Solutions Consultant - DoW to act as the trusted advisor for federal agencies, partners, and sales teams. You will own account strategy and orchestrate technical solutions that translate complex agency needs into scalable cloud solutions.

In this remote field role, you’ll lead executive workshops, design high‑quality POCs/ POVs, and coordinate with product teams to influence roadmaps, while traveling up to 50% to customer locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, IS, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years as Pre-Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant, or 10+ years in enterprise services.
• Fluency in modern development languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or C++), plus SQL/HTML/XML.
• Excellent communication with C-level audiences and travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Own Account Strategy: own the technical strategy for strategic accounts and complex sales campaigns.
• Facilitate Executive Workshops: lead roadmap sessions and executive visioning discussions.
• Architect Custom Solutions: design and deliver high-quality POCs/ POVs with executive sponsorship.
• Navigate Complex Landscapes: understand ERP/CRM/data/workflow/AI landscapes to integrate Appian.
• Own Technical Validation: lead responses to RFIs/RFPs and security reviews.
• Influence Product Roadmap: feed real-world requirements to Product Management.
• Scale & Mentor: coach peers and develop reusable assets and customer success stories.
