The ideal candidate holds a pharmacy tech certification (PTCB), at least one year of experience, and proficiency with PPE, aseptic techniques, and MS Office. Travel to clinics is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; College degree preferred.
• Professional pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) required.
• Minimum one year experience as a pharmacy or admixture technician; IV sterile admixture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for accuracy and product needs.
• Perform calculations for admixture drug measurements.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered.
• Don and doff PPE to maintain aseptic preparation for hazardous drugs.
• Maintain records and logs including temperatures, waste, and drug inventory.
