Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking an Admixture Tech II to perform complex sterile and non-sterile admixtures under supervision. You will manage medication orders, compounding procedures, and inventory while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a minimum of one year in pharmacy admixture, a pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) and strong analytical, communication, and safety skills.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification required; CPhT preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience as a pharmacy or admixture technician; IV sterile admixture experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities; works well in a fast-paced multi-site environment.

Responsabilités

• Review medication orders for accuracy and determine products needed.
• Perform calculations to determine drug measurements for admixtures.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered by the prescriber.
• Properly don and doff PPE and maintain aseptic technique.
• Maintain records including clinical trials, waste manifests, temperature logs, and regulatory compliance.
• Order, stock, and dispense medications and medical supplies; manage inventory.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Operations, Nursing, and Finance to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
• Willingness to travel 75–100% weekly as Admixture Tech floats.
