Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking an Admixture Tech II to perform complex technical tasks in preparing hazardous and nonhazardous agents under supervision. You will manage sterile and non-sterile drug admixtures, maintain comprehensive records, and support pharmacy operations across multiple clinics.

Travel 75–100% weekly is required. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a professional pharmacy technician certification (CPhT preferred).

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification (or equivalent) is required; CPhT preferred.
• Minimum one year experience as a pharmacy/admixture technician.
• IV sterile admixture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review orders for accuracy, determine products needed and their suitability.
• Calculate drug measurements for admixtures precisely.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered.
• Perform proper donning and doffing of PPE for aseptic prep.
• Maintain records and logs for clinical trials, waste, temperatures, and inventories.
• Order, stock, and dispense medications and supplies.
• Ensure temperature monitoring for ambient and refrigerated drugs.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Ops and other departments to minimize care interruptions.
• Travel 75–100% weekly as a float Admixture Tech.
