Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 4 years of related administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support for Director and unit operations; monitors and maintains unit files and records.
• Prepares and monitors departmental payroll and related records; schedules and attends meetings and prepares records.
• Supervises and evaluates non-clinical support staff; develops work schedules and delegates assignments.
• Manages space needs and clinician schedules to optimize room utilization and resources.
• Purchases daily medical and office supplies per hospital protocols and monitors inventory.
• Ensures patient satisfaction through effective service and continuous improvement.
• Provides orientation for unit staff on hospital policies and information systems.
• Collaborates with other departments on purchasing, maintenance and repairs.
