Job summary

The Tennessee Board of Regents is seeking a Senior Administrative Associate to support the Southeast Campus Information Desk. This role greets visitors, answers phones, emails and in person inquiries, and routes them to the appropriate contact.

You will need knowledge of campus operations and emergency procedures, with a focus on providing excellent service and information. Required qualifications include a high school diploma and 2 years of relevant experience; an Associate's degree is

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree is preferred; CAP certification is a plus; 1 year higher education experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Slate, Banner, Dynamic Forms, and DocuSign is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and prospective students; provide information or route to the right person.
  • Answer phones, respond to emails and in-person inquiries; manage related issues.
  • Know college policies and Southeast Campus operations; assist in emergencies.

Senior Administrative Associate - Southeast Campus

This position will provide administrative support for the Southeast Campus Information Desk.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs job duties from the assigned campus/instructional site/work location. Greets various visitors and prospective students by providing information or routing them to the appropriate person. Performs duties including answering phones, responding to phone/in person/email inquiries, screening calls, and handling related issues. Knowledge of College policies, procedures, and operations of Southeast Campus. Appropriately answers questions about the college and the Southeast Campus. Knowledge of emergency procedures and the ability to respond to emergency situations appropriately.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Two (2) years of relevant experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution.

  • Certified Administrative Professional Certification (CAP).

  • One (1) year of experience working in a higher education setting

  • Familiarity with Slate, Banner, Dynamic Forms, DocuSign and other web-based systems


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative. Ability to manage a high-volume workload using effective time management skills to plan, prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines. Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required.

Rate of Pay: $39,681.00 - $47,625.00 depending on experience
