Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to own the detailed design of rotary and linear actuators, from concept through production. You will drive development in sensing and electromechanical gear systems with a strong emphasis on manufacturability and durability testing.

Based in Long Beach, CA, this role requires a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience, with proficiency in NX or SolidWorks and GD&T.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering is required.
• Experience owning mechanical design of actuators from concept to production.
• Proficient with CAD in NX or SolidWorks and knowledge of manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design of rotary and linear actuators from concept to production.
• Drive development of sensing, eMachines, and electromechanical gear systems.
• Design for manufacturability and assembly at production rates.
• Evaluate cooling solutions for applications.
• Design durability test profiles using vehicle data.
• Lead continuous improvement and data analysis initiatives.
