Job summary

Required: a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 4+ years of experience, CAD proficiency (NX/SolidWorks), GD&T knowledge, and US Person status for export-controlled data

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience owning an actuator design from concept to production.
• Geared actuation systems knowledge and CAD with GD&T
• Experience in machine shop, parts procurement and shop safety protocols.
• U.S. Person status is required for export-controlled data access.

Responsibilities

• Own detailed mechanical design of rotary and linear actuators from concept into production.
• Drive development in sensing, eMachines, and electromechanical gear systems.
• Design with a heavy focus on manufacturability and assembly at production rates.
• Evaluate cooling solutions for each application.
• Design durability test profiles using vehicle usage data.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement and data analysis techniques.
