Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 8+ years of experience.
• Owned mechanical design of at least one actuator from concept to production.
• Experience with geared actuation systems and rotary/linear reduction mechanisms.
• CAD in NX or SolidWorks; knowledge of manufacturing methods.
• Proficient in ASME Y14.5 GD&T and mechanical drawings.
• Experience sourcing parts and working in a machine shop; shop safety knowledge.
• U.S. Person status required for export-controlled data access.

Responsibilities

• Own detailed mechanical design of rotary and linear actuators from concept to production.
• Drive development in sensing, eMachines, and electromechanical gear systems.
• Design with a manufacturing-focused approach for high-volume production.
• Evaluate cooling solutions for each application and durability test profiles.
• Lead continuous improvement and data analysis initiatives.
