The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and GAAP knowledge to ensure accurate invoicing, timely payments, and reliable vendor data while collaborating with procurement and other departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable or related field.
• Experience with large-volume AP transactions and GL processes.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle accounts payable.
• Process high-volume vendor invoices and credit memos.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts tied to AP.
• Prepare and post AP-related journal entries.
• Assist month-end and year-end close.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records and data accuracy.
• Support audits with documentation and reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Perform other duties to support accounting.
