Job summary

365 Retail Markets is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Finance Department. The role focuses on AP operations, customer account maintenance, and month-end close activities, reporting to the Director of Accounting.

Responsibilities include processing AP and vendor invoices, managing AR activities, and ensuring accuracy across ledgers. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in accounting, familiarity with ERP systems, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on accounting experience with a focus in Accounts Payable.
• Experience with mid-large sized companies preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required.
• Strong working knowledge of AP/AR and banking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Self-motivated team player with good communication.
• Experience with Sage X3 ERP system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process AP transactions and maintain vendor invoices.
• Maintain AR activities including customer accounts and billing.
• Assist month-end close and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure accurate inventory financials.
• Handle 1099 preparation and filing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ERP data loads.
• Investigate discrepancies and make corrections.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Accounting.
