Job summary

Enrollment123 is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the month-end close and AR function within a lean finance team. You will ensure financial integrity, support internal controls, and drive billing automation across multiple entities.

The role collaborates with the Senior Director of Finance, external auditors, and tax accountants to deliver accurate multi-entity financials, while improving processes with automation and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High degree of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close – lead the close process and make process improvements as needed.
• Billing and Accounts Receivable – manage end-to-end invoicing across multiple entities; ensure timely collection and support automation initiatives.
• Accounts Payable – ensure timely bill payments and manage vendor relationships.
• General Ledger and Account Reconciliation – oversee and manage the general ledger and ensure accurate transactions.
• Audit – assist with external audits, including preparing audit schedules and coordinating with auditors.
• Tax – ensure accurate and timely compliance across multistate indirect taxes and other filings.
• Intercompany and Multi-Entity Accounting – manage intercompany transactions and eliminations.
• Financial Reporting Support – prepare inputs for monthly management reporting and variance analyses.
• Process Improvement and Automation – leverage AI and other tools to improve accounting processes.
