Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Account Manager II, FDO, focused on Richmond, VA, to grow relationships with electrical contractors, consultants, and end users for AC Power and Switchgear opportunities. The role travels across the territory to propose solutions and expand the customer base.

You will coordinate with Thermal, Channel, and Service Sales reps, build compelling presentations, and lead internal resources to deliver value beyond expectations, while meeting sales quotas and business goals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in account management or sales.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent).
• Proven success in large account sales and managing pipelines.
• Understanding of electrical contractors, consultants, and end users for data center applications.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a sales plan and pursuit strategy for each existing account and finds new opportunities and new clients, respectively.
• Develops new long-term, and strengthen existing, relationships as a trusted advisor with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
• Negotiates AC Power and Switchgear product opportunities while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Manages order flow to meet customer and consultant requirements and maximize profitability.
• Supports new company initiatives and contributes to a growing pipeline of opportunities.
• Achieves increasing sales and orders quotas while expanding the pipeline.
