Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Account Manager II, FDO, to grow and manage the relationships with Contractors, Consultants, and End Users for AC Power and Thermal product opportunities in the Hayward, CA area.

In this role you will present solutions, coordinate internal resources, and meet expanding sales quotas. The position requires travel across the territory and a strong emphasis on developing new and existing customer partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in large account sales and account management.
• Knowledge of contractors, consultants, and end users for Data Center applications.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a sales plan and pursuit strategy for each existing account and finds new opportunities and new clients, respectively.
• Strengthens relationships as a trusted advisor with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key executives and stakeholders.
• Negotiates product opportunities while coordinating with team members for cross-selling.
• Manages orders to meet customer and consultant requirements and maximize profitability.
