Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a seasoned sales professional to drive executive-level ownership and value for large, complex service contracts in the building technologies space. You will sell, renew, and expand offerings to building owners and their representatives, managing relationships and guiding customers through the decision process.

The role emphasizes strategic influence, strong communication at the C-level, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline required. MBA preferred.
• A minimum of five to seven years of progressive field sales experience at the C-level.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell JCI offerings persuasively to building owners and owner representatives at the C-level, with minimal supervision.
• Develop and manage long-term customer relationships and partnerships to drive renewals and expand opportunities.
• Execute the sales process, qualify and close new sales and guaranteed savings opportunities, including performance contracting.
• Leverage sales tools to plan, document progress, and increase opportunities in accounts; coordinate with internal teams.
