Job summary

Spectrum Business in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Account Executive to drive growth by connecting small and medium-sized businesses with Spectrum's communications solutions. You will prospect, build a solid territory plan, guide customers from initial contact through closing, and mentor Account Executives with product knowledge.

You'll partner with Sales leadership, maintain accurate Salesforce records, and help expand the local customer base while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire for growth within Spectrum Business and commitment to building team strength.
• Knowledge of communications technologies and services, especially telephone and Internet fundamentals.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Sell Spectrum Business' primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a defined territory
• Generatesales leads using strategic prospecting tactics and manage each lead frominitialcontact through to closing the sale
• Develop and implement a comprehensive Territory Plan under the guidance of the Sales Manager to expand the customer base
• Provide subject matterexpertiseto the sales team, mentoring Account Executives and sharing product knowledge and sales techniques
• Maintainaccuraterecords of all sales and prospecting activities using Salesforce.com tooptimizeterritory performance
• Place orders through order management software and collaborate with Account Coordinators to ensure administrative accuracy
• Attend and participate in sales meetings as scheduled by management, consistently striving to meet and exceed performance standards
