Job summary

WEX is seeking an Account Executive for its Expense Management solution in the U.S. market. You will identify opportunities within existing WEX customers to upgrade to Expense Management, leading a consultative software sales process that integrates payment services, virtual card issuing, and streamlined workflows.

You will drive discovery with finance leaders, articulate back-office value, and help convert operational stakeholders into active platform users, with minimal travel required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in client acquisition/expansion and relationship building.
• Demonstrated consistent quota performance in a business-to-business sales environment.
• Ability to sell against the competition and unseat incumbent solutions.
• Strong prospect-channel identification, development, and qualification skills.
• High degree of territory management capability, including territory segmentation.
• Successful completion of a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• consistently meet or exceed monthly KPIs (sales activities, pipeline creation, new sales, etc.).
• Develop a strategic plan for territory penetration in collaboration with your sales manager.
• Self-generate leads and build a robust pipeline of Expense Management opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
