Job summary

WEX Inc. in the United States is seeking a Sales Manager, Expense Management to lead a team of Account Executives and drive new and existing business. You will shape the sales strategy, coach reps, and collaborate with product and operations to maximize revenue.

You will hire, train, and manage performance, ensuring pipeline coverage, quota attainment, and a strong customer focus in a growing spend-management solution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-years professional sales experience with emphasis on successful pipeline creation and quota achievement.
• Minimum 3-years prior sales management experience
• 3+ years experience in the payments industry with a focus on B2B payments activation
• Ability to work and perform independently
• Proficiency in Salesforce - creating, tracking and reporting on Leads, Opportunities and Accounts
• Proficiency in Excel to develop sales analyses, individual Sales Rep development plans and Team Performance Reports.
• Excellent writing skills to evaluate, coach, and develop individual talent and professionalism
• Must be comfortable traveling via land/air, travel is expected to be minimal
• Must pass a successful background investigation
• Success creating new sales teams through hiring excellent candidates
• Experience bringing new products to market as a sales leader or individual contributor

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Expense Management Account Executives and drive achievement of sales goals.
• Co-create and execute an overall sales strategy, provide coaching, and hold regular team meetings.
• Serve as liaison between sales team and product organization to support strategic customers.
