Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Senior Business Development professional for remote/teleworker roles in the United States. The role focuses on growing revenue by pursuing new business opportunities, shaping deals, and guiding cross-functional teams through lengthy sales cycles.

You will build client relationships and position HPE’s solutions as a credible partner across megadeals and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years in the Services Industry and 3+ years in developing new business opportunities with clients, preferably at the CxO level.
• Advanced University degree preferable.

Responsibilities

• Leverages market research to focus pursuit time, resources and effort on winnable opportunities.
• Qualifies large opportunities for active pursuit based on probability of success and resource allocation.
• Develops client relationships during lengthy deal cycles and reinforces the company as a credible partner.
• Positions the company early in deals to influence client strategy and RFP requirements.
• Drives pursuit strategies across cross-functional teams during long sales cycles.
• Lead and mentor a virtual team across geographies to advance growth.
• Coaches and mentors other team members.
