Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions in Chandler, AZ seeks a Retirement Plan Manager to lead onboarding and ongoing administration of employer-sponsored 401(k) plans. You will partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to design compliant plans, oversee fiduciary responsibilities, and ensure timely setup and documentation.

The role requires deep knowledge of ERISA regulations, plan types, and testing, with strong client-facing and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Understanding of ERISA, IRC regulations, DOL requirements and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Knowledge of plan document types (prototype, volume submitter, customized plans).
• Understanding of eligibility requirements, vesting schedules, safe harbor rules, contribution limits, and testing (ADP/ACP, top-heavy).
• Knowledge of data requirements for plan establishment (census data, compensation types, plan elections).

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding of new 401(k) plans and ensure timely setup tasks and documentation.
• Act as primary contact for assigned retirement plan clients and provide ongoing support.
• Coordinate distribution of participant notices and employer communications during onboarding and plan lifecycle.
• Support plan operations, including eligibility, contributions, and inquiries.
• Monitor contribution submissions and eligibility tracking to maintain accurate administration.
