GlobalFoundries is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Malta site Fab 8, a 300mm leading edge semiconductor facility operating 24/7. The role involves monitoring, sustaining, and improving equipment and processes, with collaboration across production teams and area engineers.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and PC/software troubleshooting skills are required to support manufacturing readiness. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years in electrical or mechanical
Competenze
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- Electrical or mechanical experience required.
- 2-year technical degree or 2 years military experience or 4 years of relevant experience.
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment.
- Flexible and willing to work any shift (3-4 days alternating weeks).
Mansioni
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and test semiconductor tools for readiness.
- Communicate status updates to Lead Tech or Engineer.
- Follow detailed procedures and safety policies.
- Work independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment.
