Zusammenfassung

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Malta Fab8 300mm facility. The role involves monitoring, sustaining, and improving equipment and processes in a 24/7 environment, partnering with production teams and area engineers to resolve issues and ensure manufacturing readiness.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, documenting events, and communicating status updates to leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Degree (or equivalent).
• Experience: Electrical or mechanical, one of the following: 2-year technical degree, 2 years of relevant military experience, 4 years of relevant experience (automotive repair, BOCES, HVAC, aviation, cable installation, computer routing, telecommunications, electrical work).
• Able to work in a cleanroom environment and to stand for long shifts; able to lift 50 lbs; flexible for shifts.

Aufgaben

• Monitor equipment performance and sustain processes.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tool sets.
• Communicate status updates to Lead Tech/Engineer.
• Work with production teams and area engineers.
• Complete event documentation and end-of-shift pass downs.
