Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Malta site Fab 8, a 24/7 300mm semiconductor manufacturing facility. You will monitor, sustain, and improve equipment and processes, performing preventive and corrective maintenance and communicating status to team leads.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, working in a cleanroom, and complying with safety policies. Candidates should have relevant electrical/mechanical experience and be able to work long shifts with PPE as required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree (or equivalent)
• Experience in electrical or mechanical fields or related training
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and wear PPE as required
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift equipment (50 lbs+)
• Flexible to shift rotations (days/nights)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain semiconductor equipment and processes.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per operating procedures.
• Communicate equipment status and issues to Lead Tech/Engineer.
• Follow EHS&S policies and maintain safe working conditions.
