GlobalFoundries inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Malta FAB8 site. The role involves monitoring, sustaining, and improving semiconductor equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and communicating updates to leads and engineers.

The position requires standing/walking for long shifts, lifting, and cleanroom practices. Required is a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 2-year technical degree or 4 years relevant experience.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-year technical degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance is required.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints/electrical diagrams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor equipment.
• Monitor and test equipment for manufacturing readiness.
• Document maintenance events and pass downs to leads/engineers.
• Adhere to safety policies and environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Work independently and in teams in a fast-paced fab environment.
