Job summary

GlobalFoundries' Malta site Fab 8, a 300mm semiconductor manufacturing facility, seeks a Maintenance Technician to monitor, sustain, and improve equipment and processes in a fast-paced 24/7 operation.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, interpret technical data, and communicate status to Lead Tech or Engineer, while complying with EHS policies and working with production teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical or mechanical experience: 2-year technical degree or 4 years relevant experience.
• Fluency in English (written & verbal).
• Willing to work 3–4 days alternating weeks (day or night).
• Able to lift equipment/tools >50 lbs and work in a cleanroom.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned tool sets.
• Monitor equipment performance and readiness for manufacturing.
• Document events and communicate end of shift pass downs.
• Follow FAB8 EHS&S policies and procedures.
