Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Malta Fab 8 300mm facility. The role involves monitoring, sustaining, and improving equipment, partnering with production engineers, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on tooling, while ensuring manufacturing readiness and effective shift handoffs.

The ideal candidate has a mix of electrical/mechanical skills, 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience, and comfort working in a 12-hour shift with strict safety

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree (or equivalent).
• Electrical or mechanical, 2-year technical degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years of relevant military experience or 4 years in related fields.
• Travel requirements: Minimal travel.
