Job summary

CLA Meridian Capital in Seattle seeks an Investment Banking Associate to support execution of sell-side M&A and other corporate finance engagements, delivering rigorous financial analysis and client-ready materials.

You will build complex models, assist in preparing pitchbooks and marketing documents, identify buyers, support buy-side considerations, and coordinate with junior staff to hit deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant investment banking experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business management, accounting, or related field.
• Licensing as Series 63 and Series 79 required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare M&A financial models, pitchbooks, and deal documents.
• Identify potential buyers for sell-side engagements and track deal information.
• Evaluate acquisition opportunities for buyer clients and forecast trends.
• Support client engagements and lead junior team coordination.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams; contribute to recruitment and training.
• Coordinate time-bound deliverables and ensure deadlines are met.
