Job summary

CLA Meridian Capital in Seattle, WA seeks an Investment Banking Associate to support sell-side M&A execution and corporate finance engagements. You’ll perform detailed financial modeling, valuations, and create powerful client presentations while collaborating with senior mentors.

You’ll identify buyers, assist in buy-side analyses, and maintain close client relationships. Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and series licenses within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant investment banking experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business management, and/or accounting.
• Series 63 and 79 licenses required to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Sell-side M&A transaction analysis and documentation; build complex financial models and pitchbooks.
• Identify buyers for sell-side engagements and track deal-related information.
• Analyze investments for buyer clients and forecast trends for acquisitions.
• Serve as a client point of contact and support transaction execution.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with junior and senior team members.
• Assist in recruiting, development, and training of junior resources.
• Coordinate time-bound deliverables to meet project timelines.
