Job summary

CLA Meridian Capital seeks an Investment Banking Associate to join our Seattle office. You will support transaction execution for sell-side M&A and other corporate finance engagements, including research and analysis, client communications, and document preparation.

You’ll collaborate with senior staff to identify buyers, assess investments, and manage deliverables while mentoring junior team members. A strong finance background and license readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant industry experience in investment banking.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business management and/or accounting or related field.
• Series 63 and 79 licenses required (to be obtained within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Sell-side M&A transaction analysis and documentation, including pitchbooks and marketing documents.
• Identify buyers for sell-side clients and track deal-related information.
• Assist buy-side evaluation by examining financial engagements and valuations.
• Act as a point of contact for clients and support pitching and transaction execution.
• Prepare client-facing documents with strong written and verbal communication.
• Assist in recruitment, development, and training of junior resources.
• Coordinate time-bound deliverables from the junior team to meet timelines.
