Job summary

Mini Mall Storage is hiring a Customer Service Representative to support lead management, sales, and daily operations at our self-storage facilities. You will handle customer inquiries, process rentals, manage delinquency processes, and ensure accurate financial records across locations.

You will work within a team, uphold brand standards, and contribute to a safe, secure, and customer-centric storage experience. Prior storage or property management exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with preference for sales, customer service, or property management experience.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail in unit inventory management, brand standards, and security protocols.
• Proficiency in delinquency management, including collections, auctions, and daily reconciliation, with accuracy.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and verification of a MVR.

Responsibilities

• Follow internal sales processes to convert leads into sales/up-sell through phone, online, and walk-in channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Facilitate the auction process for unpaid accounts and delinquency per legal and company guidelines.
• Use market knowledge to understand target demographics and local pricing strategy.
• Complete rental agreements, protection plans, and apply discounts as applicable.
• Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions.
• Ensure daily reconciliation of rent payments, collections, and financial transactions.
• Identify opportunities for property improvements to boost customer satisfaction and sales efficiency.
• Conduct regular unit inventory walkthroughs to ensure availability, cleanliness, and brand standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
