Job summary

CubeSmart in Florida is seeking a customer-focused Store Associate to manage and maintain district properties. You will develop relationships with customers, identify storage needs, and provide fitting storage solutions while delivering a standout experience.

You will work face-to-face with customers, meet monthly sales goals, and handle leasing, payments, and store merchandising. Daily tasks include property walks, unit showings, maintenance, and keeping facilities clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays and potentially Sunday hours.
• Access to a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interact face-to-face with customers, provide excellent service, and build rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Work independently and on a team to rent units, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, accept payments using the POS system, complete daily bank deposits, and make courtesy calls regarding late payments.
• Perform physical tasks such as daily property walks, cleaning units and grounds, opening/closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs.), mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning storage units, and other facility upkeep.
• Maintain a clean and safe storage facility to meet company guidelines (clean restrooms, neat landscaping, tidy storage doors, decluttered office space).
