Job summary

DPR Construction is hiring for a Self-Perform Work (SPW) project leadership role in Texas. You will manage SPW teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery of complex projects.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, strategic coordination, and proactive problem-solving to meet safety, quality, and financial targets across diverse markets. A Bachelor’s degree and 7 years’ experience are required, with OSHA 30 preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of managerial experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of SPW project personnel to achieve exceptional performance.
• Oversees end-to-end SPW work scope execution with project teams and resolves escalated issues.
• Oversees procurement of SPW materials, equipment, and specialty subcontractors as needed.
• Communicates SPW project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders.
• Evaluates SPW project performance and implements corrective actions.
• Reviews SPW project documentation for compliance and forecasting to support financial control.
