Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Senior SPW Project Manager to lead self-perform work on construction projects, align SPW teams, and ensure quality and schedule. You will direct SPW personnel, subcontractors, and partners to meet project goals and safety standards.

This role requires extensive experience in SPW environments, strong collaboration with stakeholders, and solid financial forecasting to achieve targets and manage costs across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 30 completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of construction SPW project individuals to achieve exceptional performance and encourage talent development.
• Oversees end-to-end execution of self-perform work scopes by collaborating with SPW project teams, monitoring progress, and addressing escalated, complex issues to ensure timely completion.
• Oversees and approves procurement of SPW-specific materials, equipment, and specialty trade subcontractors as needed, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with SPW work sequences and field requirements.
• Communicates SPW project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders, leveraging advanced knowledge in SPW means and methods.
• Evaluates SPW project performance, identifies areas for improvement, and implements corrective actions.
• Reviews comprehensive SPW project documentation for compliance, reporting, and future reference, while actively managing project costs and forecasting to support financial control and informed decision-making.
