Job summary

DPR Construction in Atlanta seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead self-perform work (SPW) teams and deliver high-quality construction results. You will oversee SPW activities, coordinate with subcontractors and partners, manage schedules, budgets, and safety programs, and ensure project success.

The role requires 7 years in construction engineering or related fields, with 1–2 years in a managerial capacity preferred, and an OSHA 30 certification is preferred or to be obtained within 6

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years in a managerial capacity preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of SPW project individuals to achieve exceptional performance and talent development.
• Oversees end-to-end execution of self-perform work scopes by collaborating with SPW project teams and addressing complex issues to ensure timely completion.
• Oversees procurement of SPW-specific materials, equipment, and subcontractors ensuring alignment with work sequences and field requirements.
• Communicates SPW project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders with advanced knowledge of SPW means and methods.
• Evaluates SPW project performance, identifies areas for improvement, and implements corrective actions.
• Reviews SPW project documentation for compliance, reporting, and budgeting to support financial control.
