Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a senior construction professional to lead Self-Perform Work (SPW) teams in delivering high-quality projects in North Carolina. You will manage SPW workers, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure alignment with standards and budgets.

You will oversee procurement, monitor progress, address complex issues, and report project status to stakeholders while driving financial controls and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of SPW project individuals to achieve exceptional performance and talent development.
• Oversees end-to-end execution of self-perform work scopes with SPW project teams, monitoring progress and addressing issues to ensure timely completion.
• Oversees procurement of SPW-specific materials, equipment, and specialty subcontractors and ensures alignment with work sequences and field requirements.
• Communicates SPW project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders with advanced knowledge of SPW means and methods.
• Evaluates SPW project performance, identifies areas for improvement, and implements corrective actions.
• Reviews SPW project documentation for compliance, reporting, and forecasting to support financial control.
