Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a capable SPW Manager in Atlanta to lead and develop a Self-Perform Work team, ensuring high-quality project delivery and professional growth. You will coordinate SPW workers, subcontractors, and partners to meet schedules and standards across complex projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in construction-related field, 7 years of experience, and strong cost-control skills. OSHA 30 was preferred with completion within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
• OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of SPW project individuals to achieve exceptional performance and talent development.
• Oversees end-to-end execution of self-perform work scopes, collaborating with SPW project teams to ensure timely completion.
• Oversees procurement of SPW-specific materials, equipment, and subcontractors as needed, ensuring timely delivery.
• Communicates SPW project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders with advanced SPW knowledge.
• Evaluates SPW project performance, identifies improvement areas, and implements corrective actions.
• Reviews SPW project documentation for compliance, reporting, and cost control to support financial decisions.
