Job summary

Stine Seed Company in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking an Independent Sales Representative for Garrett and Allegany counties in Maryland. You will manage and grow a dedicated agri-sales territory, promoting Stine seed products while building strong grower relationships and delivering agronomic support.

The role offers flexibility with hybrid/partial remote work, competitive earning potential, and collaboration with a regional agronomist to drive sales in the district.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of agricultural experience including agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet goals.
• Preference for candidates who have strong grower relationships and understand their needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services.
• Manage existing accounts and recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies to meet district sales goals.
• Work with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide high-level sales support within the territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and potential customers, directly or through a designated seller.
