Job summary

Stine Seed Company, a privately-held, growing national seed company, currently seeks an Independent Sales Representative in Virginia covering Essix, Caroline, Hanover, Middlesex, King and Queen, King William, and New Kent counties. Qualifications

• Candidates should have three or more years of ag experience, including agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques and strong negotiating abilities.
• Experience in dealer development and retention is preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision to meet goals and show initiative.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with growers, understanding their needs and values.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services for the territory.
• Manage existing accounts and recruit new accounts to grow sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine sales programs and policies to meet district sales goals.
• Collaborate with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide high-level sales support.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers, directly or through a designated seller.
