Job summary

Stine Seed Company in Southern Pennsylvania is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to grow our seed business in Adams and Cumberland counties. You will serve as the primary ambassador of the Stine brand, develop agronomic knowledge, manage existing accounts and recruit new ones to achieve sales goals.

The role offers an established territory, substantial earning potential through commissions, and support from agronomic and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of agricultural experience in agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques and strong negotiating skills.
• Proven success in dealer development and retention.
• Initiative with ability to work with minimal supervision to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products for the territory.
• Manage existing accounts and recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine sales programs and policies to meet district goals.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide high-level sales support in the territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with growers and potential customers.
