Job summary

Stine Seed Company in Knox County, Ohio, is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to serve as primary ambassador for the brand within the assigned territory. You will develop agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and drive sales with existing and new accounts.

The role offers a well-established territory, a strong reputation for seed quality, and flexible scheduling to grow professionally and financially with a nationally respected seed company.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of ag experience, including agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques, negotiating skills and ability to overcome obstacles.
• Demonstrated success in dealer development and retention.
• Initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision to meet goals.
• Preference for candidates who build strong grower relationships and understand their needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services.
• Manage existing accounts & recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine sales programs and policies within the territory to meet sales goals.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide high-level sales support.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers.
