Job summary
CDM Smith seeks a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Engineer to lead and contribute to sediment remediation projects for federal and public-sector clients. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering; PE license required.
- 7 years of related experience; travel may be required.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage teams on sediment remediation projects.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate sediment remediation technologies and design sediment remediation projects for diverse sites.
- Understand transport, site assessment, sampling/monitoring, cap modeling, dredge approaches, remedial design/construction.
- Support mathematical/statistical evaluations of environmental data sets.
- Serve as task manager; communicate technical strategy to clients and SMEs.
- Lead staff in preparing, reviewing and ensuring technically sound deliverables.
