CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Engineer to lead and contribute on sediment remediation projects for federal and public-sector clients. The successful candidate will work independently and mentor others while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically robust solutions.

You will evaluate remediation technologies, design sediment-related systems, assess contaminant transport, perform data analysis, and communicate complex findings to clients

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering (PE) license.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Providing expertise evaluating feasibility of sediment remediation technologies and designing sediment remediation systems for riverine, coastal, riparian/floodplain, and port sites.
• Understanding principles of sediment transport, environmental site assessment, sampling/monitoring, cap modeling, dredge approaches, remedial design and construction.
• Supporting statistical evaluations of environmental data sets.
• Serving as CDM Smith’s task manager on sediment sites, communicating strategies to clients and SMEs.
• Liaising with clients, the public, and external consultants.
• Leading staff in preparing/reviewing technical documents to meet regulations and policy.
