Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Engineer to lead and contribute to sediment remediation projects for Federal and Public sector clients. Candidates should demonstrate independent work and team leadership on diverse sediment sites, including riverine, coastal, and port settings.

The role requires a PE license (or eligibility), a civil/environmental/chemical engineering background, and approximately 7 years of related experience, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental or chemical engineering. PE license preferred.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise evaluating sediment remediation technologies and design for riverine, coastal, riparian/floodplain, and port sites.
• Lead a team of engineers/scientists on sediment remediation projects for Federal/Public sector clients.
• Serve as task manager, communicate technical strategies to clients, and liaise with SMEs.
